This two day viticulture and wine making course takes place over 2 days over a weekend and incorporates the one day Viticulture and grape vine cultivation course and also the Wine Making Course (oenology) and will give you the knowledge to cultivate grape vines successfully on a small scale and then harvest and produce your own wine from the grapes you have grown.  Why not combine it with an internationally recognised wine appreciation course to ensure you have the knowledge to be able to talk to wine professionals about wines and your wine products.

Setting up your own winery

This is the ultimate challenge for all UK and English wine lovers to being able to set up your own winery and vineyard.  We will also hear from an industry expert as well as a presentation from a vineyard owner who has set up their own vineyard and produced their own wines.

Establishing a vineyard

The course takes place over a weekend and will be lead by our expert English Wine consultant Kieron Atkinson who has established several vineyards and wineries across the UK and England including the award winning Renishaw Hall Vineyard in Derbyshire proving that quality English Wines can be established in areas other than the traditional wine producing belts of Southern England.

Vineyard visit

Over the weekend we will take a visit to Renishaw Hall Vineyard in Derbyshire to see how the vines are grown and cultivated.

The course includes extensive notes on viticulture and wine production and lunch on both days.
