Craft Fruit Liqueurs Course (NEW DATE COMING SOON)

This fruit liqueur course is a hands on full day course in how you make fruit liqueurs at home for enjoyment or on a small scale as a craft liqueur producer.  Our expert tutor will reveal some of his trade secrets of how to make professional standard fruit liqueurs by using natural fruits to infuse your alcohol and create a series of award winning fruit liquer flavours on this 1 day fruit liqueur course.

On the course as well as learning about all the elements of fruit liqueur production you will make your own fruit liqueur which you will bottle and take away on the day.

What are fruit liqueurs?

The art of making fruit liqueurs is an ancient artisan English tradition.

Liqueurs are alcoholic beverages made from spirits and that are bottled with added sugar and therefore sweetened and flavoured with fruits, nuts or aromatised with herbs or spices.  Most liqueurs range from 15-55% ABV.

Fruit Liqueurs Course Content

As part of the liqueurs course we will look at:

• Creating successful flavour combinations from foraged and brought fruit
• How to use herbs, spices to flavour your fruit liqueurs.  He will even reveal his adventures of getting Cannabidiol better known as CBD into one version of his fruit liqueurs.
• How to bottle and label your fruit liqueurs
• The costs involved in producing your fruit liqueurs and where and how to source your ingredients and equipment
• Aging of your fruit liqueurs and uses from flavouring food to creating your own stunning cocktails
• For people looking at selling their fruit liqueurs Mike will provide some suggestions on marketing and retailing your craft liqueurs

In the afternoon Mike will provide a tutored tasting of some of his award winning fruit liqueurs.

All equipment and recipes are to be provided by Brew-School
