On this half day beer canning course we will take you all the things that you need to consider when packaging your beer into can.

Paul Evans from Oasthouse Engineering nr Sheffield will take you all the things that you need to consider when looking at beer canning in your microbrewery.

We explore on this beer canning course the relative merits of various packaging types from: bottles, to keg but the is a focus on canning beer and then look at the science and options open to microbreweries in a world of increasing packaging options and marketing opportunities.

Over this intensive half day beer canning course we look at all aspects of canning beer to give you an overview of the subject before you take the plunge or take your beer canning operation to the next level.

  • Market trends in beer packaging and where beer canning fits in
  • Practicalities of in house beer canning, contract beer canning and mobile beer canning operations
  • The layout of a beer canning operation in your microbrewery
  • Time management of your beer canning
  • Beer canning associated equipment an evaluation.

 

 

Beer canning & marketing

Paul will look at the avenues to promote your beer, through branding and design exploring the opportunities that can exist between packaging options and your beer brand giving insights into how to sell more beer for higher margins and greater profit across all the packaging formats.

On this half day beer canning course packaging and marketing course we will challenge your perceptions on how you present, market, display and ultimately package your beer to help you create a winning beer brand.

This course is perfect for new microbreweries who are setting up and are looking to develop their own beer brand.  It will be essential for existing breweries who are looking at the full range of beer packaging options, the technical constraints and opportunities of  and looking to develop their branding presence at home and abroad.

On this course you will take a full set of notes looking at beer packaging options along with the opportunity to meet and discuss in details the technical issues relating to the packaging of beer at a microbrewery scale.
